This online training course on pre-eclampsia consists of 2 modules and forms part of APEC’s larger learning programme: Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy: Treating and Diagnosing Pre-eclampsia, HELLP and associated conditions.
Dr Adrian Wills and the Boleyn Academy have collaborated with APEC to bring you this short film designed to cover all the information clinicians need to diagnose eclampsia and learn from past mistakes. In a combination of animation and discussion, he uses case studies to explore how maternal lives can be saved from this very serious condition which affects 1 in 4000 pregnancies.
This course consists of a short 30 minute film with 6 multiple choice assessment questions. It also includes a short online feedback form that will take you 1 – 2 minutes to complete.

This is a 1-hour course for online learning. It consists of a narrated YouTube video with visuals and graphics. It is clear with good CPD value. After watching the video, the learner takes a short test of multiple-choice questions. You will need to achieve a pass mark of 80% to receive your course certificate.
