This online training course on pre-eclampsia consists of 2 modules and forms part of APEC’s larger learning programme: Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy: Treating and Diagnosing Pre-eclampsia, HELLP and associated conditions.
In this course, Prof Cathy Nelson Piercy explains exactly what pre-eclampsia and associated conditions such as HELLP and eclampsia are. She explains what they do to the body during pregnancy and how to define hypertension in pregnancy. There is a 10 minute presentation (we recommend taking notes) with 6 multiple choice assessment questions. It also includes a short online feedback form that will take you 1 – 2 minutes to complete.

This is a 1-hour course for online learning. It consists of a narrated YouTube video with visuals and graphics. It is clear with good CPD value. After watching the video, the learner takes a short test of multiple-choice questions. You will need to achieve a pass mark of 80% to receive your course certificate.
