This online training course on pre-eclampsia consists of 2 module and forms part of APEC’s larger learning programme: Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy: Treating and Diagnosing Pre-eclampsia, HELLP and associated conditions.
In this course, Dr Alice Hurrell discusses a new blood test for detecting pre-eclampsia. She explains this is a new tool in aiding clinicians to diagnose pre-eclampsia when combined with existing antenatal checks and tests. This course consists of a short 30 minute presentation with 6 multiple choice assessment questions. It also includes a short online feedback form that will take you 1 – 2 minutes to complete.

This is a 1-hour course for online learning. It consists of a narrated YouTube video with visuals and graphics. It is clear with good CPD value. After watching the video, the learner takes a short test of multiple-choice questions. You will need to achieve a pass mark of 80% to receive your course certificate.
